Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education (BEd) - American Samoa
Offered through the Territorial Teacher Training Assistance Program, with grant support through the American Samoa government, this hybrid program is offered entirely in American Samoa. Faculty deliver classes via online courses, in-person, video conference, and hybrid methods.

Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Secondary Education (PBCSE)

Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Secondary Education
Program requires an on-campus orientation followed by one year of online instruction. Student teaching occurs in Hawai'i, expecting that students are relocating for a teaching career in-state. Find out more about the PBCSE.

Master of Education in Teaching in Elementary or Secondary* (English, Math, Science, Social Studies)
Program is offered in cohort groups using internship and field-based models, including on-the-job training. Native Hawaiian and Indigenous Education focus available. Cohorts are admitted once a year. While classes are typically taught off campus, depending on certification area and enrollment, some classes may be available only on campus during evening hours.

Funded by the National Science Foundation and offered in partnership with Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL), the program is also called Regional Education Masters Online Training in Evaluation (REMOTE). Students reside in Hawai‘i, Kosrae, American Samoa, Palau, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Guam, and the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands.
