COE Advisory Council

The COE Advisory Council is composed of leaders in early childhood education, K-12, and higher education communities, as well as education partners from business and government. The Council usually meets twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. The College of Education Advisory Council’s role is as follows: To advise the Dean of the College on all aspects of the College mission and to help ensure that the College is responsive to the needs of the State of Hawai‘i through teaching, service and research. The Council advocates for the College and communicates the goals and activities of the College to various communities. The Council responds to reports and presentations prepared by the College including, but not limited to, annual reports, long range plans, and accreditation reports.
