Diverse A.R.T presents Hawai'i's only annual hip hop conference.

STUDENTS WILL:
• arrive at 8:00 am, check in, and receive a “SWAG BAG”.
• learn the history and significance of hip hop, and its 4 elements
• participate in interactive workshops on each element of hip hop taught by local hip hop practitioners
• choose one element of hip hop as their focus
• participate in a question/answer panel (history of Hip Hop, Hip Hop in Hawaiʻi
• receive a wristband to attend the Oct. 8th CYPHER at Hawaiian Brian’s for free

EDUCATORS WILL:
• observe as students interact with each element of hip hop
• have the opportunity to find out how they might include hip hop
in their lesson planning
• hear from other educators in Hawaiʻi that use hip-hop n their classrooms
• participate in a question/answer panel (history of Hip Hop, Hip Hop in Hawaiʻi
• receive a wristband to attend the Oct. 8th CYPHER at Hawaiian Brian’s for free
