About COEDSA 1st PhriDay Workshops
COEDSA 1st PhriDay Workshops are typically held on the first Friday afternoon/evening of every month. The COEDSA Council works with guest speakers and faculty presenters to put on workshops that help COE PhD students with all steps in the doctoral process.
Traditionally after each COEDSA workshop everyone is invited to a very informal social gathering typically at a local restaurant. The location will be determined during the workshop. This social gathering is an opportunity for COE doctoral students to enjoy each other’s company by discussing our academic journeys and our jobs, families, hobbies, etc. Participation is encouraged.
