Purpose:  The purpose of this fund is to assist full-time, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, College of Education, who are committed to careers in teaching in Hawaii. Preference shall be given to students of Hawaiian ancestry, from Kauai and other neighbor islands, majoring in Hawaiian Studies and/or Hawaiian Language.

College:  College of Education Standing:  any Min GPA:  3.0
Major:  any Residency:  HI Resident only Gender:  Any
Enrollment Status:  Full-Time
Additional requirements: The prospective recipient should have graduated from a Hawaii high school and have a major of Education. Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and improving education in Hawaii. Submit two letters of reference from College of Education faculty members familiar with the applicant's academic ability. Preference given to students of Hawaiian ancestry, from Kauai and other neighbor islands, majoring in Hawaiian Studies and/or Hawaiian Language.
