Purpose:  The purpose of this fund is to assist full-time, undergraduate or graduate students, committed to careers in teaching in Hawaii, enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, College of Education.
Basic Criteria
Campus:  Manoa Level:  Undergraduate or Graduate Need Based:  Yes
College:  College of Education Standing:  any Min GPA:  3.0
Major:  any Residency:  HI Resident only Gender:  Any
Enrollment Status:  Full-Time
Additional requirements: The prospective recipient should have the enrollment status Full-time (Grad: 8 credits, Undergrad: 12 credits) and a major of Education (Teaching). Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and improving education in Hawaii and submit two letters of reference from College of Education faculty familiar with the applicant's academic ability. Recipient should have some degree of financial need, not necessarily determined by federal guidelines.
