Abstract

Two features make the creation of the philosophy handbook innovative. First, most all philosophy handbooks are written for an audience already knowledgeable about philosophy. The target audience for the handbook is college students who have had little or no exposure to philosophy. Second, the handbook is interdisciplinary because it uses material from non- philosophy disciplines that can provide illustration of human experiences which raise the seminal questions philosophers try to address.
