Joakim Jojo Peter

This year’s Celebrate Micronesia Festival at the Bishop Museum is dedicated to the late Joakim “Jojo” Peter. Senator Glenn Wakai will share a tribute to Jojo and recognize his contributions to community and civil rights.

The festival showcases traditional and contemporary art, dance, fashion and music of the people and cultures of the Republic of Palau, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, Guam, Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae, Kiribati and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.  It is free and open to the public with food available for purchase.
