The COE Department of Special Education is excited to provide an opportunity for children (K–12) to receive free reading tutoring online this summer as well as fall and next spring. COE students in the current cohort of the Reading Interventionist Specialist (RIS) program will provide one-on-one tutoring.
- Deadline to sign up: Friday, March 27, 2026
- Summer 2026 Term: May 26–June 21
- Fall & Spring Term: September 2026–May 2027
- 3x per week for 30 minutes
- Tutors will provide all materials
- Tutees must:
- commit to every session of the tutoring term
- have access to computer/internet
- be in an environment conducive to learning
