2002

The COE’s Technology & Distance Programs office was formed to plan and support teacher preparation programs across the state, including training and course preparation support for COE faculty.

2007

The COE received a USDOE grant to develop online teaching programs to prepare more STEM teachers on neighbor islands. This grant supported the development of an instructional design and technology support team that partners with faculty to develop online programs.
