Hawaii Young Adults in Transition (HYAIT), a support group for families with transition-age and young (and older) adults on the autism spectrum and with other developmental disabilities, and Best Buddies UH Chapter which creates opportunities for one-on-one friendships and building employment and leadership skills, are partnering to hold a fun day in the park. On Saturday, June 8, at Magic Island (Ala Moana Park), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., we’ll gather for board games, outdoor games, Frisbee tossing, swimming near a guard tower, and pizza!
