Join us for an overview of the research approval processes for the UH Human Studies Program (HSP – the IRB) and the Hawai‘i Department of Education (HIDOE). This session is designed for faculty and graduate students engaged in human subjects research.
Presenters:
Kristin Bacon, UH HSP Manager, will share tips on How to Develop a Successful IRB Application for students and faculty planning to conduct Human Subjects research
Taylor Puuohau, Institutional Analyst for the HIDOE Data Governance and Analysis Branch, will share current HIDOE research and application review procedures for students and faculty doing research within the HIDOE system.
