    Brief Biography

    I am the very proud mother of three amazing children. Camron, 28, graduated from Texas State University where he played basketball, is a high school basketball and track coach. He also teaches students with emotional/behavioral disorders, and he is the father of a 5 year old. Allex, 24, graduated from Baylor University where he was a high jumper on the track and field team and a member of the men's basketball team. He is a personal trainer and a coach at Kamehameha High School. Rain, 14, is a freshman in high school and a member of the JV volleyball team and a dancer at 24.7. I was a public school teacher for 20 years before moving to Hawaiʻi in 2012. I graduated with my M.Ed. in 2013, and began my PhD program in the fall of 2014. I am a full time instructor and field supervisor for teacher candidates in the College of Education Secondary Institute for Teacher Education.
