    Brief Biography

    Holly has 20 years of experience as an educator ranging from preschool to middle school. A majority of her career was spent as a classroom teacher for Head Start, and third, fifth, and sixth grades at Propel Charter Schools in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also served as a mathematics instructional coach at Propel Montour for several years before furthering her education at Stanford University, where she co-taught the elementary mathematics methods course sequence and assisted on several research projects. Holly's research focuses on equity and mathematics learning of elementary school children in digital game-based learning environments. View the Prezi about her work here:
