Leading for Change (LFC) is an entrepreneurial leadership program that prepares early educators, family child care providers, and other early childhood professionals to drive change and quality improvement in their practice, programs, and the broader field. Hawaiʻi celebrated its first cohort of graduates in June 2025. The highly interactive course gave cohort members the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills, cultivate a change-oriented mindset, and collaborate with peers. Each participant also identified a specific area in ECE they wanted to improve and designed a change project with a concrete action plan to bring that vision to life. A second cohort began in August 2025 and will present their change projects in November.
