On Aug 28, 2026, EDEF welcomed new students to our ‘Ohana at Wist Hall in the College of Education. New students had the opportunity to meet faculty and learn more about the department, its programs, and the EDEF community. This fall, EDEF welcomed a total of 24 new PhD and master’s students.

The gathering also brought together many familiar faces from around the EDEF community. Faculty and students reconnected, shared community announcements, and celebrated recent contributions and accomplishments across the department.
