Join us to learn about Indigenous Ilokano and Amianan (Northern Philippines) epistemologies and pedagogies. Jeff will present work that grew out of Nakem Pedagogy including his work in Kokua Kalihi Valley among Filipino, Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders, Teaching Ilokano courses in the San francisco Bay Area, and his continued work among Filipinos in Lahaina with regard to the resiliency and vanguard as a response to the Lahaina fires.
