Event Details

Join us to learn about the Hawai‘i Education Research network (HERN), a research practice partnership consortium involving the College of Education (COE) and Hawai‘i Department of Education (HIDOE). Now in its 10th year, HERN supports teams of COE faculty, graduate assistants, and HIDOE partners to conduct research projects that explore educational priorities for the State of Hawai‘i.

A unique component of HERN’s framework are the partnerships involving COE faculty, COE graduate assistants, and HIDOE partners who collaborate to design and implement projects as a team. At this event, the COE members of four HERN teams will share highlights of their projects and describe core aspects of their research practice partnerships.
