Project Hōkūlani, in the COE Center on Disability Studies, is happy to announce a special guest speaker session with Cheyenne Hiapo Perry. Cheyenne will share some of what he has learned over 16 years of working to plant native trees and mālama (care for) the watersheds that is Mauna Awākea. His presentation will address aspects of natural history, stories and chants, cultural significance, watershed function, and current ecological restoration efforts.
