While the Master of Education in Teaching program does allow students who are on the job (OJT) to use their employment to meet the field requirements of the program, we do not think this would be possible while pursuing the BAM pathway because undergraduate courses will be offered during the school day and would not allow students to attend classes and teach at the same time. Any OJT request is reviewed on a case by case basis. One of the things we look for is a match between the grade level and subject you are teaching and the area you want to be licensed in. Additional guidance can be found in the MEdT Candidate Handbook.
