After in depth consultation with our faculty, we are unable to accommodate double majors on our BAM pathway. It would require double majors to complete an unrealistic amount of credits each semester in year 4 of the pathway at both 400 and 600 levels, thus putting an undue burden on these students. The BAM pathway is designed to result in one bachelor’s degree and one master’s degree. Therefore, those who are currently double majors in ʻIke Hawaiʻi and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi should meet with both academic advisors to explore their options and decide if continuing as a double major or moving to a BAM pathway best fits their future academic/career plans
