Kelly Tanimura is a special education teacher at Holomua Elementary School. Kelly graduated from UH Manoa will a dual certification in elementary education and special education. In 2010, Kelly received her master’s degree in special education from Grand Canyon University. All of Kelly’s teaching experience has been at Holomua Elementary school in a variety of settings (e.g. resource pull-out, preschool and fully self-contained) working with students with a variety of cognitive, physical and neurological disabilities. Currently, Kelly is teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities in kindergarten and first grade students.
