Why did you choose to become a teacher, in general?
I chose to become a teacher because it is very fulfilling. It’s rewarding to see youngsters develop both academically and non-academically as well-rounded individuals and future citizens. Not everyone will realize it, but teachers are the children’s role model. They come from various backgrounds, and some do not have the role model they require at home, but for that moment in their lives, we are who they look to for assistance and guidance.
Why did you choose to become licensed in special education?
I chose to become licensed in special education because I am passionate about creating inclusive and supportive environments for all students to thrive. I believe that every individual, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, deserves access to quality education that meets their unique needs. By becoming licensed in special education, I aim to advocate for and provide a more equitable educational experience for students with special needs.
