Why did you choose to become a teacher, in general?

Every student faces challenges and struggles that can lead to difficult behavior. As educators, it is our responsibility to help students develop coping skills and create an environment where they can thrive. This will build their confidence and contribute to their success. Witnessing their achievements and knowing I have played a role in their journey is extremely rewarding. I strongly believe that the field of education offers continuous learning and personal growth, which is why I aspire to be a teacher.

Why did you choose to become licensed in special education?

I have been working with students with special needs since 2007 and became a Registered Behavior Technician in 2019. Throughout my journey, I have always found joy in teaching students. Working with students who have severe disabilities and autism can be very challenging, but it is very rewarding when I see their progress or just see their smiles.
