Why did you choose to become a teacher, in general?

Growing up, I went through a lot as a kid and some of the biggest influences in my life were my teacher. I have always loved working with kids but I also want to be able to make an impact in kids lives the way teachers and educators did for me. Good teachers can make a big positive difference not just educationally but mentally. I want to be a good teacher that does the same.

Why did you choose to become licensed in special education?

I chose to become licensed in Special Education because I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn and grow in all the best ways possible. This includes students with special educational needs. I have a huge heart for these students and want to help them grow and strive in the best way possible! After a lot of experiences in special education, I realized the heart and passion that I have for it, and decided to get my licensed in it.
