Why did you choose to become a teacher, in general?

I believe that working with children is what I am supposed to do. Building relationships with the students and their family’s is important to me. Making a difference in someone’s life is what I aim to do. When students see me out in public I want them to smile and think/say my teacher loves me.

Why did you choose to become licensed in special education?

I want to be apart of their support system. Students need a good advocate and I will be that! I want to positively impact not only the students but their parent’s lives.

Why do you feel it is important to have diversity in the classroom?

It’s important to have diversity to expose us to different view points, experiencing traditions, and learning new skills
