Partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding and Agreement

The College of Education's (COE) International and Special Programs unit at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa develops and maintains sustainable international exchanges and partnerships in higher education with institutions from other parts of the world including the Asia Pacific and Europe. 

By the end of 2017, the college has formal memoranda of understanding (MoU) with 23 international partners in Asia and Europe, including institutions in China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.

COE's international collaboration focuses on the exchange of faculty and students, sharing academic resources, conducting joint projects of mutual interest, and in some cases collaborating on awarding graduate degrees.
