Why did you choose to pursue to pursue the BS KRS Health & Exercise Science program?

I chose to pursue kinesiology because I’ve always been passionate about movement, health, and helping others improve their quality of life. I’m fascinated by how the human body performs and kinesiology allows me to combine my interests in science, fitness, and wellness in a meaningful way. This field not only deepens my understanding of anatomy and physiology, but also prepares me to make a positive impact whether that’s through rehabilitation, performance enhancement, or guiding people toward healthier lifestyles.

Why did you want to be a Social Media Ambassador for your program?

I would love to be a Social Media Ambassador for my program because I’m passionate about sharing the opportunities and experiences that kinesiology has to offer. I enjoy creating engaging content and connecting with others online, and this role would allow me to showcase the amazing things happening within our department while inspiring current and future students. As someone who is already active on campus, as an RA, a member of student organizations, and a fitness and wellness advocate, I can bring an authentic, energetic perspective to our program’s online presence.

Anything else you’d like to share?

As a Resident Assistant living on campus, I’ve developed strong leadership and community building skills while supporting my peers in a variety of ways. I’m also an active member of several student organizations, which has allowed me to connect with students from many different backgrounds and perspectives. Beyond campus life, I facilitate a weekly yoga class, helping others find balance and wellness, and I maintain a very active lifestyle myself. I’m currently creating fitness content online to inspire and educate others, while also working on launching my own jewelry brand. These diverse experiences have given me a unique perspective on balancing academics, entrepreneurship, creativity, and wellness, and they continually push me to grow both personally and professionally.
