Assistant Professor Kelsey Oliver, in the College of Education Department of Special Education (SPED), recently gave two talks about ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) Autism Hawaiʻi: A Pilot Program for Supporting Autism Providers in Family-Centered Care.
Started in June 2024, ECHO Autism Hawaiʻi aims to reduce disparities in access to autism services and improve outcomes for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) across diverse communities. Along with Oliver, SPED Assistant Professor Marija Čolić serves as a hub team member under the direction of Maya Matheis of the Center on Disability Studies.
