Type

Poster Session

Description

Traditional classroom methods often fail to capture students’ attention, particularly in middle school where digital distractions are high. This study examines the impact of interactive games and activities on student engagement in a sixth-grade science classroom. By integrating platforms like Kahoot, Blooket, and hands-on activities, the research explores whether these methods increase participation and focus. Observational data will be used to measure engagement levels, providing insights into effective classroom strategies. The findings aim to support educators in adapting teaching practices to align with students’ digital fluency and learning preferences.
