Title

The Effects of Small Group Instruction on Engagement in Elementary Students

Type

Oral Presentation

Description

Our study researched and analyzed the connections between student engagement and small group activities. Currently, research is limited on the direct tie between small group activities and student academic success through engagement. Our study chose to define if a link exists between small group centers and engagement because extensive research has proven that engagement leads to better academic achievement. The study included observations of off-task behavior during small group activities and the completion rate of assigned activities.
