Maya Carter earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX. After graduation, she worked as an Admissions Counselor for Lamar University. It was there that her passion for education was realized. Maya became interested in finding innovative methods of implementing technology into the K-12 classroom. She then decided to continue her studies in educational technology. In addition to her work with the LTEC department, Maya is a graduate fellow with the East West Center. Maya is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology at the University of Hawaii-Mānoa.
