Rochelle Piʻilani Hussey Kaaloa is an Assistant Specialist at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies within Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge. She has a B.A. in Political Science and a M.Ed. in Educational Technology. She is an experienced educator working and researching in the areas of indigenous education, online learning, and the incorporation of technology to enhance teaching, research and dissemination of ‘ike Hawaiʻi. Her current research agenda is focused on the influences of cultural beliefs on the technology integration of Native Hawaiian faculty and students in their instruction and research.
