Dr. Scott Rowland

Dr. Scott Rowland grew up in Honolulu and attended O‘ahu public schools, Oregon State University, and the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.  His research includes studying lava flows, volcano morphology, and all aspects of Hawai‘ian geology.  He also teaches courses about Hawai‘ian and Pacific geology, field methods, remote sensing, GIS, and hydrology, and is a co-investigator on the Mars Curiosity rover project.
