The faculty consists of professionally and academically qualified personnel, each with many years of experience in different aspects of teacher education. The backgrounds and experiences of the faculty complement each other so that the department can offer an innovative, high quality, well-respected, field based instructional teacher education program.

Two graduates wrote the following on a survey asking about their experience in the program, “The faculty work very well with each other and they seem like family. They are all incredibly supportive!” and “The MEdT program’s biggest strength was the opportunities they have opened up for us. There were countless means of communication with professionals of all different experiences that shaped the way we learned and molded our educational practices.”

The extended MEdT community includes faculty, staff, along with school and community partners. There is a team that manages the office for the MEdT program. This team will either be able to resolve the matter directly, or assist in resolving problems in the most expeditious way possible.
