Why did you choose to become a teacher, in general?

I became a teacher (rather currently becoming one) because I love the “ah ha” moments students have when they finally get a concept. I love seeing the joy in students eyes when they know someone believes in them.

Why did you choose to become licensed in special education?

I chose this field because these are the students that tend to get dismissed or over looked which I can relate to. I like hearing success stories of how students over came the stigma or perspective of their disabilities. It’s super encouraging to know that there are no limits for anyone.
