Nina first became involved with the Ethnomathematics Program as a pre-service teacher in 2011. It was through this program that she experienced the transformative impact that ethnomathematics can have on students and educators. Nina has been involved with the program in various capacities over the years and currently serves as one of the instructors in the Ethnomathematics Graduate Certificate program. Her research areas of interest are: educational technology, flipped instruction, and qualitative research methods.
