Abstract
Participants will engage in hands-on lessons developed, implemented, and refined by instructors of the world’s first academic program in ethnomathematics. Lessons will be explored at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Activities will revolve around cultural practices that help teachers affirm students’ strengths and be authors of mathematics.
