Indigenous ways of knowing science, art, and education
The keynote address at the Tléixʼ Yaakw One Canoe Conference is guided by the frameworks: “Haa At Wuskóoxʼu Daat Woosh Kanax̱ Gax̱tuda.áat”--We are going to gather around our wisdom and “E Ho'ulu'ulu Makou 'o Ko Makou Na'auao”--Let Us Gather Together Our Wisdom. Calls to action focus on Indigenous STEM integration, Mālama Honua “Caring for Island Earth,” and revitalization of language, art, and culture.
