The Graduate Records Examination (GRE)

The Graduate Records Examination (GRE) is required for both Athletic Training tracks. GRE test scores over five years old are not accepted.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

International students must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). TOEFL test scores  over two years old are not accepted.

1. Submit an Office of Graduate Education (OGE) Application

Please carefully review the OGE application instructions and comply with the most current requirements and submission procedures. It is a good idea to submit copies of all graduate division application materials to the COE department you are applying to with your COE application materials.  *Please select "MS in Athletic Training" for the Planned Course of Study 

International students may have different deadlines and requirements.

2. Submit KRS Application Materials

  • Transcripts (sent to KRS program director)
  • Documentation of ~200 hours of observation
  • Completed Technical Standards

Post-Professional Athletic Training (Advanced)
  • PP-ATP Program Application
  • KRS Specialization Form
  • Graduate Assistantship Application
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • A Statement of Objectives
  • Resume
