Hualani Loo, who is earning her PhD in the Department of Educational Administration (EDEA), is co-producing a podcast series about the traditional districts of Hawaiʻi Island. Associate Director of the UH Hilo Kīpuka Native Hawaiian Student Center, Loo works with UH Hilo graduate student, Bruce Torres Fischer, on Ka Leo o ka Uluau. The 24-episode podcast series will feature traditions and lessons as told by community members through moʻolelo or stories about places, histories, and people.
