Kaiwipunikauikawēkiu Punihei Lipe, who earned her PhD in Educational Administration, is the new director of the University of Hawaiʻi Hawaiʻi Papa O Ke Ao (HPOKA). As part of Lipe’s appointment, made by President David Lassner, she will lead HPOKA to advance the 10-campus system’s commitment to becoming an Indigenous-serving and Indigenous-centered institution.
