Associate Professor Kahunawai Wright of the College of Education Department of Educational Administration, along with Professor Noelani Goodyear-Kaʻōpua of the College of Social Sciences Department of Political Science, is working on a biography of Haunani-Kay Trask, the late Native Hawaiian leader and scholar. The project has earned a $182K grant from National Endowment for the Humanities as well as a potential $40K in fellowship funding from the Lannan Foundation.
