Advising by Appointment

Appointments will be conducted over the telephone, Zoom or in-person. See the information for OSAS In-Person Advising Appointment Requirements below. Schedule an appointment.

Virtual Peak Season Advising

During peak times, advising will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. See details below.

Express Advising

OSAS In-Person Advising Appointment Requirements

One (1) additional person may accompany you for your appointment. Please kindly wear a face mask covering your mouth and nose.  If you or the other member of your party are not feeling well, please call our office to change to a Zoom or telephone appointment or reschedule your appointment.

Bring your student ID card.  If you arrive more than ten (10) minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

OSAS VIRTUAL PEAK SEASON ADVISING

During peak times, academic advising will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis on Zoom or telephone. Advisors will be available to assist with general and mandatory advising, transfer credit evaluations, graduation checks, removing holds placed by OSAS (i.e., GPA holds). Log into the Virtual Peak Season Advising STAR Balance Kiosk. The schedule is listed below.

Note: For currently enrolled KRS- Health & Exercise Science (HES), KRS- Health & Physical Education, BEd- Elementary Education, and BEd- Secondary Education, there are general advising appointments (for mandatory advising, general registration assistance) available. Schedule an appointment. If you are not yet officially declared in any of these programs or our Minor in Education and have general questions about these programs or need registration assistance and prefer a scheduled appointment, please call OSAS at (808) 956-7849 and we will be happy to help you schedule an appointment. These appointments are not for transfer credit evaluations, graduation checks, or to remove a hold placed by OSAS.

Regularly scheduled academic advising appointments will resume on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Students can schedule academic advising appointments through STAR Balance.

OSAS Virtual Express Advising

OSAS academic advisors are available for Virtual Express Advising on Zoom or telephone for quick questions.  The schedule is listed below.  Days and times are subject to change.

Please note:  a scheduled academic advising appointment is required if you need to conduct a graduation check, transfer credit evaluation, general advising, mandatory advising, and/or remove a hold placed by the College of Education.
