Academic Advising & Student Support

E komo mai! OSAS provides academic advising to all undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students, as well as all students who wish to become a teacher.

Please be advised, due to the global outbreak of COVID-19, that our office will remain committed to serving you while keeping in mind the health and safety of our students, staff, and faculty.  We have temporarily shifted to virtual Express Advising and will be offering scheduled telephone, Zoom and in-person appointments but this is subject to change depending on COVID-19ʻs status.  You may contact our office by email at  We will continue to monitor the situation and ask that you also keep abreast of the current status by visiting the COVID-19 UH updates page.

OSAS In-Person Advising Appointment Requirements

To be on a UH campus and make an in-person appointment, you must meet UH health requirements.  Face masks are required in our OSAS advising office. For more information, visit UH Mānoa’s COVID-19 Resources and Information website.

Only one (1) additional person may accompany you for your appointment. Everyone must wear a face mask covering your mouth and nose.  If you or the other member of your party are not feeling well, please cancel and reschedule your appointment.

Bring your student ID card.  If you arrive more than ten (10) minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

OSAS Virtual Express Advising

OSAS academic advisors are available for Virtual Express Advising on Zoom or telephone for quick questions.  The schedule is listed below.  Days and times are subject to change.

Please note:  a scheduled academic advising appointment is required if you need to conduct a graduation check, transfer credit evaluation, general advising, mandatory advising, and/or remove a hold placed by the College of Education.
