Maharaj “Raju” Desai is the author of February’s education piece in the FilAm Courier. Raju is earning his PhD in curriculum and instruction and works as a graduate assistant in the Department of Special Education. He is also a member of the Tinalak Filipino Advisory Council and a lecturer in the Department of IndoPacific Languages and Literature.
