Join us for the second session of a five-part free professional learning series. Project KUALIMA supports individuals who are interested in learning more about proactive, systematic methods for supporting students with challenging behaviors using three-tiered models of prevention. Participants have the flexibility to engage in one or more sessions of the learning series, as each session provides stand-alone information to build knowledge, skills sets, and confidence in supports students with challenging behaviors.

Session 2: Empowering educators with low-intensity strategies to increase engagement and minimize disruption

*Participants working for HI DOE may choose to register and pay a course fee through PDE3 to earn 6 PD credits. To earn credits, participants must attend all five sessions and complete assignments towards a learning portfolio.

Bonus: This series also covers behavior analytic content to meet requirements for individuals (BCaBA®/BCBA®) seeking continuing education units (CEUs) . Attendees must be present for the entire 2 hour duration to earn two CEUs per session.
