The 15-credit Measurement and Statistics certificate will focus on psychometrics and advanced statistics that can be used for analyzing research data.

The 15-credit Program Evaluation certificate will focus on the theory, design and practice of program evaluation and is designed for those who are looking for skills and certification in program evaluation. A capstone course that includes a community-based capstone project will help students apply their skills in an authentic context. Prerequisites for this certificate include proficiency in basic research design and statistics (EDEP 608: Introduction to Research or equivalent).

UHM Psychology majors are invited to apply for a dual-enroll program leading a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s of Education in Educational Psychology. In their senior year, BAM students will be dual-enrolled in the two programs and will take 9 credits (PSY 489/EDEP 489, EDEP 601, EDEP 608) that will count for both the BA and MEd. Students can complete the MEd one year after they finish their BA.
