CREDE Hawaiʻi Project researchers developed the Classroom Observation Rubric (COR) and Early Childhood Education-7 (ECE-7) rubric based on the Standards Performance Continuum (SPC, Doherty et al., 2002). The COR measures the first five CREDE Standards. Project researchers adapted the COR and included the sixth and seventh Standards (Modeling and Child/Student Directed Activity) to create the ECE-7 for young learners. The ECE-7 is sometimes also used with older and multilingual learners.
