Abstract
This presentation focuses upon inviting teachers into visual art education experiences that honor creativity, self-expression, identity and inquiry. Participants will receive instruction in basic digital photography techniques, learn about the elements of art and the principles of design, and reflect upon using visual arts to invigorate and support literacy in the early childhood classroom.
