The  American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the American Educational Research Journal section on Teaching, Learning, and Human Development have chosen Dr. Lois Yamauchi as an Outstanding Reviewer for 2014.

A letter to Dean Young and Dr. Yamauchi said that AERJ-TLHD would not be the leading journal it is today without the professional assistance of reviewers such as Professor Yamauchi.

They have recognized Professor Yamauchi by sending a letter to Dean Young and inviting her to attend the Journal Publications Committee Reception in Chicago in April where she and other Outstanding Reviewers will be honored.
